Ceremony
The Inauguration Ceremony for Penn’s eighth President took
place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 15, in Irvine Auditorium.
This ceremony marked the installation of Dr. Amy Gutmann, by the
Trustees
of the University of Pennsylvania,
as the President of the University of Pennsylvania.
The Inauguration Ceremony in Irvine Auditorium was
a ticketed event. The ceremony was simulcast
at
remote locations on campus (Heilmeier Hall in the Towne Building,
and Auditorium, Jon M. Huntsman Hall), on Penn Video Network
channel 24 and is also accessible via webcast. For information
